About us
When something is good, word gets around. Matthew didn't set out to become a web designer, but following some recommendations and some head-hunting, he ended up starting a freelance web design business. So very relatively little actual advertising has been done, yet the clients have still materialised. This in itself is testament to the quality of service as well as the final product.
Based in Wivenhoe, Essex, Matthew arms himself with a Mac, Adobe
CreativeSuite, a veritable arsenal of web browsers, and several cups of
tea, and sets about creating beautiful web sites for churches. Using
only the best tools and cutting-edge techniques, Matthew promises high
quality results on a budget. Whether you're in Colchester, Ipswich,
Chelmsford, London, or even further afield, we can help you be seen on
the net, and for the right reasons.
Matthew Dawkins BSc
Graduate of the University of Essex
Following a degree in Computer Science at the University of Essex, Matthew worked for a year as Chaplaincy Assistant at the University of Essex Anglican Chaplaincy, before starting work for the Diocese of Chelmsford as Web Manager and setting up this freelance web design business.
Matthew generally approaches web design from a design point of view, starting with the user experience and then working to address the technical requirements. This helps to keep the web site focussed on the visitor, and as such the use of CSS features prominently.
With extensive knowledge and experience of HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL, Matthew is quite happy to take on most projects, and is more than comfortable creating bespoke web solutions where required. If you want something specific, just ask!
